MARCH 31, 2020   UPDATE

This afternoon, Governor Pritzker announced that he is extending the stay-at-home order in Illinois through April 30. He also announced today that school buildings in Illinois will be closed for the duration.

As we mentioned in our communication last week, District 303 is working on a plan to extend e-Learning for our students beyond the original date of April 7. By the end of this week, we will provide families with more details about the plan to provide remote learning through April 30.

While we are under a stay at home order, we would like to remind our families to continue to follow the guidance of the CDC and government officials for social distancing. We must all do our part to “flatten the curve” and keep each other safe. Please visit our website for a list of resources related to COVID-19.

As always, we appreciate your partnership as we work to provide meaningful instructional experiences for District 303 students.

Students in grades 3 through 12 should look for communication from their teacher(s) with assignment information. Assignments will be posted by the start time of each regular school day. Preschool, Kindergarten, First, and Second grade teachers will communicate directly with parents regarding e-Learning materials. Teachers will be available during the school day online to answer questions for students and assist as needed. For more information about how our e-Learning days will operate, please visit our FAQ online https://district.d303.org/elearning.

Please continue to watch for information from the District. Communication to families will continue to be distributed by email and posted on the https://district.d303.org/.
